Concerning the Scholarship

This scholarship was established to support outstanding students from a few Asian nations who are enthusiastic about advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN in honor of Professor John Willett, the founding vice chancellor of Griffith University and a pioneer of management education in Asia.

• Program: Master of Global Development at the Griffith Business School
• Start: Trimester 1, 2026

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must:

• Be a citizen of one of the following countries:
  Malaysia, Bhutan, Vietnam, China, Nepal, Maldives, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Laos, Bangladesh, Thailand, and the and the and the Philippines.
• Have a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0 (or equivalent) in previous academic studies.
• Be a new student applying to the Master of Global Development.

• Fulfill all academic and English language entry requirements.
• Be commencing full-time study in Trimester 1, 2026.
• Be an international fee-paying student.
